CDC advises pregnant women to continue drinking bottled water
On January 15th, the West Virginia Gazette published CDC director Thomas Frieden’s letter to the West Virginia Department of Health & Human Services concerning the drinkability of water contaminated by the January 9th chemical spill. In the letter, Frieden advises that pregnant women seek an alternative water source until contamination levels are undetectable.
