Incident Description: Red water in the Stoney Fork. The color is likely due to excessive treatment with potassium permanganate, which is commonly used to treat water for high iron, manganese and hydrogen sulfide. It is likely the treatment chemical spilled, or too much was used. From permit #807-8079
