Incident Description: WVDEP officials said a mine blowout happened in a closed section of Hobet Mining Complex on Berry Branch near the Boone-Lincoln county line. This incident is due to failing of a wet seal on the abandoned deep mine. Water pouring out appeared to be clear and will be tested in the lab.
